What a crappy thing to have happen, but what an excellent way to figure out where your crap went..

That's awesome - and the thief's pale li'l chicken legs probably made things easier for the cops! :-)

I figured that someone would start a thread about this when I saw it earlier. It seems a warning to us to keep our equipment bags in sight when we are out in public. He was super lucky to get all that back. The local police evidently knew the guy from the way they handled the event, and the amount of time it took to find him.
That's what I call a lucky shot.

I don't see what all the fuss is with that story (in the UK she's gone into police protection because of death threats and because people are idiots). After all Top Cat lived in a bin.

I suppose I can see why some people would be so upset. I don't think the cat was really in that much danger (heat maybe?). Personally, I'm just really curious what she was thinking at the time.

I suspect just some mental health issues. Of course the tabloid media are adept at turning such people into PURE EVIL which gets the baying lynch mobs and witch-hunters going. Such is the world.

Hehe, good ol' TC!
But yeah, that cat video is disturbing.

You think what she did is ok?
Human scum that would do that to an animal, would do same to human , If they knew they could get away with it...

Sure, but all the over-reaction is just out of line... Stuff the old bag into a bin for a day and call it even.

Maybe she was thinking about:

1. The pride of lions that ate her entire family while on safari, leaving her to be raised by hyenas.

2. The kitten given to her as a Christmas gift by her drunken father, just before he raped her.

3. The cat barf beside beside her bed she stepped in that morning.

4. Her cat allergies.

Intriguing indeed...

As for the woman putting the cat in the bin, she sounds like she's not playing with a full deck. (Cats are supposedly the 3rd smartest animal on the planet.)
Wishing death upon her is a bit extreme, but I like Cory's idea, lol! People are just weird now a days.

I just don't get people who are looking for an excuse. Wrong can not be made right, no matter what lawyer said. She got more attention than she likes, well maybe next time she will look for the cameras, or learn to control her craziness.

"Put her in a bin for a day" I wold have to say, sounds fair.

But since it is the UK, don't they have the famous punishment " The Cat" . Harsh, but she would learn...

Excuse me but if you don't see the evil in her action then well.....

I wish these kind of things would happen when I'm around. She probably did it because of errant cats in her neighbourhood, quick way to get rid of the problem. Was she fined?

A sentient creature, no matter the genus, does not deserve to be inflicted with intentional suffering. Anyone that thinks that it's "just an animal", and so causing it suffering is okay, is either less evolved or psychotic. So too with anyone wishing to carry out vengeance justice on this particular woman. That kind of thinking leads directly to this.

You are 100% correct , seen that story before, Extreme.
Talking about Spines. I think "Western" legal punishment is getting spineless.

But on the other hand, should she be given a candy for putting that cat in the trash bin?

She has been arrested now.

Wonder how many of the people who are complaining about her treatment of the cat ate one or more sentient beings earlier in the day....

Wow, here is the voice of reason. I sure like my meal placed in the garbage for a day or so, just for fun.

You're right, I'm sure slaughterhouse feedlots are probably much more comfortable and sanitary then that garbage bin...
