The results of the 'Life IV' challenge have been recalculated, due to the disqualification of the former 3rd place image for being unable to provide a valid original. Congrats to our new yellow ribbon winner!

| I submitted my original image the day the results were posted!!!!! I could see the original image that I had uploaded in the far left column... What the hell?! |

Open up a ticket immediately and explain to the best of your ability the steps you used to submit your original. If you had submitted a JPG image, and used a program of some kind to move your images from your camera to your computer, you may have inadvertently invalidated your original. |

| In fact, when I follow the link for the proof request, the original image still shows up in the left hand column |

Go to "Help" up in the right hand corner, click "Contact Us", and then select "General Inquiry" and use the text box to explain your issue.

| I just wanted to add that you should also check your email or message box to see if you missed an inquiry as to your original submission. It is my understanding that if the original you provided isn't valid, council will inform you and give you a chance to find a true valid original. If that didn't happen, then I'd take steps to find out why :D |

I guess that was the problem. I didn't send the RAW file. I sent the converted jpg. Ah well. This sucks.
I never check the email that I signed up to DPC with anymore. I found an email saying they needed the raw file.
Live and learn I guess.

| I'm guessing this has something to do with the PM/Email messaging problems others have been having. Hope it's resolved soon, I was shocked to see Santa missing from the front page. :( |

If the raw file was converted to jpeg you should still have the raw original somewhere? |

I'd imagine so. They did send you an email to try and get it from you, but you just missed it. Not something they'll discuss in a forum though. You could still have an internal dialogue with them, however. |

How did you find out it was DQ'd though? Obviously you're keeping tabs on the DPC site. Did they not send you a PM through DPC asking for the RAW file? Only through your e-mail? That's a problem I can see clearly right there.
Please send it in and get this fixed. |

| I didn't get a PM at DPC. I have been popping in all week since I got my purty yellow ribbon. Had I received a PM here, I would've seen it which would have made me aware of the situation. Thanks for all the support guys. I appreciate it. :-) |
