Nah, too much fill light... Not much of a flare going on here though, I know that :P

Yeah, contre jour and flare are NOT the same!! I love the idea of a flare challenge.

I agree that they're very different. Flare is usually an unwelcome side effect of contrejour. For my own purposes, I think flare looks best on film. I've never been able to get good flare using digital.

Is lens flare the same thing as sun flare?

I take this back -- partially. Some of Ben's shots reminded me that a body cap pinhole can do some lovely things with flare.
