I know everyone in this world has some kind of dream job that they wish they had.. So what's everyone's dream job?

I've always been torn between Film Director or Professional Golfer - strange given I have no aptitude for either; but they both seem like great gigs to have.

What place would you want to travel to first?

Agreed. But why would you want to have either one?

My wife won't join me anymore in watching the National Geographic Channel series "Great Migrations". I spend much of the hour (for each show) grousing about how lucky those NG photogs are to be able to see and photograph those wonderful nature scenes. It's clear to me my heart cries out to be a NG nature photographer. If only I was 35 years younger. Sigh!

Being paid nicely to travel by boat and motor home, and shoot landscape and people photos for travel magazines would be quite enjoyable for me.
It would be even better with no particular assignment except to go find interesting places to explore, photograph, and write about.

A good second choice would be to travel S W Florida and do the same regarding historic sites, since both sides of my family were pioneers of this area.

Film Director: I love film; how wonderful spending your time creating something as potentially beautiful, complex, multi-layered and shareable as a film.

Pro-golfer: Travelling the world, being good enough at something to compete at that level and making my living from taking strolls in manicured countryside...

I'd like to have my own doggy daycare business, that also offers obedience training, and pet portraits (which of course I would take).

Study Dreams. Not in the what does it mean I can read your palm sense, but how do they form, what triggers them, what decides what makes the content. For what purpose, not sure, I just think the randomness and the unknown of it is fascinating.

I've always wanted to be a meteorologist/storm chaser. I'd like to chase storms here on Earth, but ultimately be studying weather on other planets. I think I'm going to settle for moving to somewhere that actually has some kind of weather though. I'm not sure my brain is up to the schooling required anymore. Who knows though, maybe after I quit my current stressful job I'll feel rejuvenated. Just a couple more years... sigh...
