Trying to plan a vacation in the Adirondacks this summer, and I want to be near some awesome scenery. So post pics if you got them, along with any good locations!

Believe it or not, as close to the Adirondacks as I live, I haven't really shot much there, but I'll also post what I have in a bit.

Aimee and I both went to school up in the middle of the Adirondacks - Paul Smiths College up in Paul Smiths New York. Lovely area all around. But its been so long since we have been up there that we couldn't give you any pointers. So really I am just poking my head in here to say that I am jealous. ;)

That's close to my neck of the woods and I've been there a few times...though the last time I tried to go there on a Sunday it was gated (closed).

Here's a shot from prospect mtn at a DPC GTG we did to the Lake George Region a number of years back:

I don't have any photos handy, but if you have time to make it to the thousand islands, it's well worth the extra drive!
