Canada has a real shot of finally winning the cup again. Ironic that the team is led by one American and two Swedes.

Dern it. I must of jinxed it by opening this thread. Boston is up 2-0 in the second.

It's time for Vancouver to show up. Let's get at least 1 then regroup for game 4. Sure there's a third period but they're already in a 4 goal hole.

Pretty physical game so far to say the least...very impressed with the way Bruins came back in the 2nd. Poor Luongo doesn't seem to see any of them coming :-/

Let's hope that Vancouver can make it respectable in the third.

Or not. Kinda amazing the Canucks have gotten this far with all the blow out loses they have had in these playoffs.

I can't believe they let Roberto rot in net.

Coach asked him what he wanted to do after the 2nd. Roberto said "Don't even think about taking me out"

Will Vancouver show up tonight? That is the question.

Red Wings aren't playing until next season, so nope.

Only if Luongo does.

Been watching, great series so far. But I'm pulling for the Bruins.

Not really a diehard fan of either team. Part of me wants Vancouver to win cause it's Candian; however it's often pointed out that there are in fact more Canadians on the Bruins team, and as both Chara and Kelly were Senators once upon a time, I wouldn't be too heartbroken if the Bruins won either.

Enough navel-gazing. It should be an intense game!

I have less interest in the outcome without them in it, but it is still playoff hockey. Nothing better.

When Luongo is on there is nobody better. If he used up all his occasional mental fragility in game four (and he was just awful then), it's going to be tough for the Bruins to come back.

Wow, what a game that was! Hits all over the place, pileups of bodies esp in front of Tim Thomas, even Burrows and Lucic managed to get in trouble just at the faceoff!! Easily one of the most physical games I've ever seen. And Luongo was stellar, esp when he stopped what 3 shots and didn't even have his stick.

Go Canucks!!

The lopsided scores in Boston makes me wonder if it's all a ploy to make it a 7 game series since the players get paid by the game for the playoffs.

It won't matter if the rest of the 'nucks don't make the trip to Boston. So far none of them have as of yet. It reminds me of the Wings/Pens finals. In Detroit, the Pens didn't even belong on the same ice as the Wings, except for that game 7.

Here we go again. 2-0 for Boston halfway through the first.

Is the first period over yet?

If this is how Boston really plays they should have won it in 4. But they are probably dragging it out so they can get paid more.

Boston is clearly the better team.
