Penny and I were up at the museum in Boston to view the Chihuly Glass exhibition. Extraordinary. Now that I've got CS5 working on the new Win7 machine, I'm processing pictures.

For now, though, I made this one at 1920x1080 to use as my wallpaper, and I thought some of you might enjoy it enough to use it yourselves, so here it is. Be sure to click link to full size version.

I love his work, would love to see an exhibit some day. I've only seen a few in hotels and at the botanical garden in Washington DC.

Chihuly glass is awesome. They have a bunch on display at the Borgata Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City.

Puppy Bear, when I try to "view image" I get the 1x1 pix.gif?

Usually, the image will open up in it's own window?

Great shots Robert. The Children's Museum in Indianapolis has a Chihuly Exhibit. He has some nice glass doesn't he?

Bear, Thanks for the HD wallpaper. Very thoughtful of you :)

If anyone ever happens to drive from NYC to Niagara. Don't forget to stop at the Corning Museum.

Could be. I saw many of those pieces in 2008 or 2009 in Phoenix at an arboretum. I remember the boat and the tall yellow/orange tower.

The guy is one of Seattle's treasures and there are a number of his works on permanent display in buildings around the city.

I take it he's the same person who did the glass ceiling at the Bellagio in Vegas? Looks similar.
