I'm in for Florida. I am located in North Florida and January is the coldest month for us. South Florida would be nice.

Can we rent a hall or small venue in NYC or Boston Area, get as many people to come as possible; I would offer the services of my rock band, we could cater it, it could work as a "convention" of sorts.

Ideas?

yes this is a great idea. We all get into groups and we can compete with the other groups, like a DPL in a way... Make just one specific challenge for it or something.

That sounds like it could get really pricey really fast, even if the rent is the main cost involved. I'd probably go anyway : ) But I'd also just be happy with a photo walk and getting together for lunch or something : )

me too, here since 2003, no face to face meetings. I'm not sure other Dpc'ers really exist outside of my computer...

Keegbow had a good idea about a giant GTG for DPC's Tenth Anniversary.

Shall we do it?

The dates work. The First Challenge ever began on January 14, 2002.
And wouldn't you know it, January 14-15 is a weekend in 2012.

It looks as if someone in each area will have to start the ball rolling.
Then folks can each plan an area GTG to happen sometime during that weekend.

This gives us about two months to plan some extravaganzas.
Maybe we could have a Grand Show of pictures we take during that particular weekend. Or?

Anyhow, I'll start a thread next for the Northern Californians.

Or in other words, PARTY TIME!

Sweet I am not on call that weekend so if there is anywhere close that would be great. Anyone in the VA, MD, DC, NC area? I am always looking for an excuse to get over to Williamsburg :)

I'm in SW Florida, and could probably make it to any GTG south of a line from Tampa to Cape Canaveral, and possibly stretch that to Daytona.
