Hi..It depends on what all your looking for in a background check. A simple background check can be done by googling the subject in different public information databases. However, this can take time. But if you are wanting an extensive background check you must be willing to pay. Even then you not guaranteed accurate information.

What exactly do you mean by "background check"? Obviously, you have some question(s) about some person's history, but do you think they're a convicted criminal? have a record of lawsuits? married? divorced? have poor spending habits? own property? or???

There's this guy who's been coming around the house looking for my wife's oldest son. I told him he doesn't live here, and the guy wanted his number so I basically told him to piss off, I'm not giving out his phone number. He left his name and info with us. My wife isn't sure, but this guy may be someone that used to live close by and used to babysit for her years ago. Well it turned out he molested her oldest son when he was 8 or 9, and done the same to other people's kids. She can't remember for sure if that's the same guy, but he's the last person we want hanging around the house especially with our 12 year old here. I finally found that family watchdog site and late last night and sure enough it's the same guy that's coming around here. Guess next time he shows up, I'll let him know he isn't welcome here, and if he keeps coming around I'm going to stomp his ass.

It's always something around here

The police here are idiots, I have no faith in them at all.

He actually just came by again, told him if he shows up anymore he wouldn't be able to walk again after I was done with him. He turned kind of pale and left pretty quick. Hopefully that will take of the problem.

In Florida we have this resource for the type of 'background check' you are talking about; I imagine there must be something similar in your State. I would call the police.

ETA: Just found this link for your State: //docapp8.doc.state.ok.us/servlet/page?_pageid=190&_dad=portal30&_schema=PORTAL30

Thanks for that link. Pretty useful.

Like I said earlier, the cops here are pretty useless. We had to call them a few times over my step daughters ex boyfriend, he kept trying to break into our house and shed, but each time they came out, they just shrugged and said "That's what you called us out for?" I've had little faith in law enforcement before, but that just kind of killed it for me.

Don't try that here...it's a good way to get extra holes in yourself

He isn't very big, and seemed to learn his lesson after I threw him into a rose bush, pulled him out and threw him back in again
