DPChallenge should add the ability to link music and/or sound effects to challenge entries, so they play when voters open the photo. Or even a monologue.

Knowing Slippy, I would bet good money that the monologue would go something like this:

"OK you moron, now pay attention. The message of my image is clear and yes I did intend that very look because it is in keeping with the message.... NOW that you understand, vote accordingly."

I vote for bad MIDI files, to remind me of MySpace. In fact, go the whole hog and let people re-design the HTML on their entry page as they see fit.

Pink patterned backgrounds, MIDI music, flashing text.... Perfect!

Only if I have the option to never have to listen them. I can't stand it when a website plays sound without me telling it to. It's on the same obnoxious level as bright flashy pop ups. When a website plays sound on loading it's a sure way to make sure I never visit that site again.

I would also like the file type restriction opened up to animated gifs. Imagine the possibilities!

-End Sarcasm-

Sorry, I should have added that little tag earlier :)

You can already post animated GIFs to your Portfolio (or link to them from an outside site), but they'd have a hard time meeting the challenge requirement of consisting of a single, unchanging scene.
