Took these shots this morning. I had nothing in the recent Balloons challenge so this might have been ok.

How about color where you don't normally expect to see it?

Or, maybe, where just a little spot of different color takes the image from "meh" to "cool"?
Then, there are the shots where "color" and composition is all that the image is about.
What about color to show "warm" or "cool" or just "color rich" ?
I have learned that when I am out shooting, that color contrast catches my eye first, then, if it looks like something worth shooting, work the POV to find good composition. Sometimes I convert a shot to B&W if it looks like it would make a strong image.
My friend Clyde Butcher said it nicely when he explained that making an image B&W gives all the details in the image equal visual value, which is why he shoots his very detailed large format landscape shots in B&W. He shoots Florida Everglades landscapes, and it's all shades of greens and browns there, so B&W gets the images down to composition, details, and light and dark contrast.
Color photography is just a different medium from B&W as a vehicle to convey the photographer's intended interaction with the viewers. I hunt in color, then convert later if it seems the right thing to do.
Anyway, I guess that the question I'm asking here would be, what are we looking for in this SC ?

Wonderful. I feel that we will be seeing a lot of blur shots in this SC. This sounds fun, so count me in once in a while when I find something interesting to share.
