Congratulations Long Shots!
I put team X to keep people in suspense until they went to the site to see who actually won.
Congrats to Drive By Shooters for a great season. And Congratulations to every team that participated and every photographer. All of you are awesome!

| Huge thank you to Scott for Hosting this amazing WPL! To think we have been engaged in this since last August! I need a vacation! Also like Doc, I want to say thank you to all the Drive By Shooters and the Flaming Pixels. It's been an unbelievable time the last couple of months! When we were trying to come up with a name for our team, I was thinking the name Long Shots fit well and represented a double meaning. Looks like it became true in both senses! |

I couldn't have expressed better what Doc just wrote, so I make his my words...
And thank you, Scott, for your hard work and generosity and putting this WPL together!
(btw, as a the team captain, I want to ask you one more thing: the Long Shots logo you put in the Photbowl page is from another team, from a previous year - so, when you have a minute, wouldn't you mind fixing it? Thanks again)

A personal thanks from my side as well to all parties who has made this WPL such a great succes. Scott.. can never say thanks enough:)
The Drive by Shooters and also the Flaming Pixels who in the last two rounds has pushed us to our limits. It is true that pressure reveals character. It did so in bringing the Longs Shots so close, working together as a team and every single team member delivered outstanding work and improved as photographers. In this WPL team it however did more than that. It's been 4+ months and there has been so many sad moments (recently now with Tom) in our teams personal lives and this we shared and supported each other like it was family. Even in all this they delivered.
And thats the story from my side before this post get's to long and emotional.. ;)
Thanks again guys.. I havent used the phrase much but I will now
"GO LONG SHOTS!!" |

I was impressed when you pulled off the win against Flaming Pixels. It was your best week, and you did awesome work. This week was even better!! Such incredible images!

Thanks everyone for you kind words. I really enjoyed running the WPL and it bring me joy when I hear that people made friends, improved, and were motivated. I don't have much to give to this site but time, and everyone of you have made every minute worthwhile. And, I learn from all of you as I look at your work and dedication. It may not show right now but I'm becoming a better photographer and person because of all of you.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity and trusting in me to run the WPL.

| Way to go, long shots! and I have to add it was not for lack of trying on our part, we wanted to win as bad as ever, and gave it our very best effort. We had a good week, but you guys just had a really awesome week! So way to go, well deserved win. And thanks Scott, it's been a lot of fun and a great learning experience. |
