My wife and I are planning a short (few days) trip to Toronto this summer and would appreciate a few suggestions for day and evening activities and photo ops. Neither of us have been there before so would appreciate input and advice. Thanks in advance.

What do you like to do?
Cheap eats? Expensive tastes? Do you like to visit local breweries?

Without knowing anything, the obvious locations are:
CN Tower, Casa Loma, the ROM (Royal Ontario Musuem), AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario), the distillery district, maybe the Steamwhistle brewery, .....

Give me a little more info and I'll throw more suggestions out there.

Speak to the pros about what to photograph. But for places to eat or drink, my favorite dive bar on main street with fantastic beer and ambiance is Volo bar on Yonge street. Look it up.

It's Bar Volo, one block north of Wellesley on Yonge Street. They only sell local beers which change daily, roughly 15 selections on tap. The food is really basic and you're better off eating elsewhere.

Forgot Brick Works. Not really touristy, but amazing for photography.

Toronto Island offers some great points of view - sailboats, gardens, channels, city landscape, kids having fun, petting zoo, etc.

Here is another shot snapped just walking around Toronto Island. It is my favourite part of the city.
