Argh... got the stuff for my shot ready this morning. Came down with 36 mins to go to setup and take it... Props wouldn't stay where I needed them to, dropped camera at one point (short distance, no harm)... Got about 15 takes... came to computer with 15 mins to go.. wheel came off my desk chair twice (need to fix that). Got everything ready to port photos and the card reader would not work. Finally had to just reboot the stupid machine and rollover was during that time.
So no entry from me... hope everyone gets 7+!

Wow... There's some really wonderful stuff in here. I thought it was going to be a boring challenge, but I enjoyed looking through it. Will have to vote later today.

I am guessing from a quick look at the entries that unless you are from a certain country that recently celebrated its Independence Day, a good portion of the entries might leave you flat. |

Well, they looked better on my husband's laptop at 5:00am when I was still mostly asleep. :)

Oh well, the shots I took turned out crappy anyway... Might have been a blessing :) |

Mine just dropped big time! If the challenge was just for Independence day and nothing else this wouldn't happen I guess, but it's when you make it whatever, it confuses the voters!

That's no good. I'd like to think there's only one me.
Back to the scores, this was my lowest average in voting to date, by a landslide. I think I was 0.7 off my second lowest average. I don't know, this challenge I really didn't see anything I could get behind except maybe 3-4 entries. |

I voted on all the images in the challenge except for mine. I also remember voting on the image which was apparently DQ'd.
So, these numbers make sense to me, except for the fact that some time ago the voting stats for all challenges were changed to show 100% votes cast, even considering the vote not cast on one's own image. |

A DQ. There was an obvious one when I first scanned through the entries, but when I started voting, it never appeared. |
