I'm in the US. Someone in England as asked about purchasing a print. I would like to find a good, reputable online company that I could arrange this through so that the customer would not pay exorbitant shipping costs. Any ideas?
TIA,
Nikki

Loxley. Without a doubt the best for professional quality prints.

Their print quality is amazing & their packaging is second to none.

Loxley Colour

If anyone suggests Photobox or Snapfish - punch them in their uneducated faces.

Another endorsement for Loxley. They are very good and their customer service is pretty OK too.

Thank you very much. I will be looking into this. Anyone else with either "endorsements" or other suggestions?

Have you thought of using Photobox, or perhaps Snapfish?

+1 for photobox.co.uk - been using them for a few years now.

eta: whatever you do, don't listen to the loxley fanboys.

Just had a very quick glance one 10 x 12 print = 0.70 pence at dsc or £4.08 at Loxley

you pay your money and take your choice :-)

I have used Photobox and Loxley.

For everyday shots I wouldn't dream of using Loxley - but if I wanted to frame and hang the picture then I would certainly look at them.

You could ask the buyer if they have a preference and factor the price accordingly ?

Thank you all. I have made note of these replies. Now we will see if the buyer is in earnest :)

Fanboys AKA Professionals.

If you want your work to look cheap then by all means use Photobox - if you take a pride in your work then surely you can afford to pay the extra couple of quid?

You may as well just run off your photos on your inkjet printer at home and sell them.

Loxley continuously calibrate their printers and you can download profiles allowing you to softproof in Photoshop - There are different profiles available for different paper types. I know what I get in print will be identical to how I edited it on screen. Luminosity issues aside (and these are taken care of pretty well in softproofing) the colour match is uncanny - even down to the blacks.

But yeah, enjoy your roughly matched Photobox prints.
