I've been here about six and a half years, had over 32,000 images viewed to the tune of about 300,000 times.

One of my entries in a current challenge received a tick in its Wish List box.....my very first!

Percentage-wise, looks like my professional photography career is off to one heck of a start! LOL!!!

People who click that are 'wishing' they had a print of that photo.

It's a way of prompting you to put the image into DPC Prints so they can buy it.

Thanks for the explanation. It must be a honour to be 'wishlisted' indeed. Congratulations NikonJeb!

I never fully understood this feature. I got one several years ago, but wish list visibility seems to disappear when the challenge ends. How does one look at past wish list requests?

What would be nice was, if the wish lister would get a notification after you put it up for print available. I had one wish listed a few years back, once I noticed it I put it in the DPC store and some time later contacted the wish lister who was never notified that I had put a print available for it.

That's so awesome!! I've only had it once, and it was so exciting! I only wish there was some way of knowing who wish listed it so that I could have gotten a print to them. :(

I saw who wish listed it shortly after they did, but now I can't figure out how to get back to the page where I can see them.....

If you figure it out, let me know. I've never been able to see who they were.

They sent me a PM or e-mail, I can't remember how is how I found out. Not sure if you can do it any other way. I didn't even know at the time what a wish list was.

FWIW I've sent a note to Langdon referring him to this thread.

Riiiight... still in voting.
At work... brain was focused elsewhere... sorry...

Also, regarding finding out who put it on a wish list, chances are they also put it as a favorite, so if you've got any people who clicked both boxes, you could start with a quick, polite pm to anybody who had clicked the favorite box on it and see if they clicked both, if someone replies, you could ask if it was their intention to purchase a copy through DPCPrints or just acknowledging that they feel it is worthy of being sold as a print.
