I had a slice the other night on the corner of Madison and Partridge. Wasn't bad, but it could have been better. The cheese was all wrong. What is your favorite slice spot? And at what time of day? Different chefs/cooks make different pies.

I thought it was about pizza...you know when you walk out of a bar at like 1:30 or 2:00 a.m. and you just have that urge for food - pizza food. So where is your favorite spot to get a slice?

There is this killer little pizza joint in Ticondaroga called Rosses...best pizza ever...unfortunately too far to go for a slice. Only on road trips these days.

He wouldn't like MY slice. I usually get carried away when I cook pizza and my slices end up nearly as tall as they are wide :-(

No way.
Try Danforth Pizza. It's been there since 1964. The same guy still makes the pizza. Cash only, no delivery, and if he's busy, takes the phone off the hook so you can only order in person.

not too thin, then its like eating a cracker.

The Italians make better pizza in Italy than anyone, anywhere in the rest of the world.

If you're in NYC I highly recommend Luzzo's near the East Village. Best pizza I've had in a while.
