O.k. I just used Google images and found a site that is spinning off use to other users (meaning other users who frequent the site are using my image with no attribution or permission and it is coming directly from this site).

I found Rainy Daisy Days on this site Favim.com

Looking at the site's About Info this is what they say:

We've created this image gallery of the most awesome and prettiest pictures on the Web to be a warehouse for your inspiration. You can change images here with the same ease as a painter touches strokes the canvas with their brush, or as fast as a photographer's camera snaps another picture. Suppose you are fond of nature, quotes and design, and your favorite color is red. In this case, tags and colors can help you track down the unique picture you were searching for so long.

I bolded the text. This is infringement. I will be sending this company a DCMA letter but I also want to send one off to their ISP.

How do I find the ISP of favim.com

Next to source where it has unknown there is a question mark. Clicking that will take you here... //favim.com/faq/contact.htm

Then click the copyright button and fill in the info.

Thanks Kelli, I did see that, but what I am looking for (and getting brain lock on) is to find who the ISP is of Favim.com is. Generally in the past I have had much better response from the ISP who takes things like this more seriously than the infringing websites. So I'll give Favim.com 3 days to respond with notification that I have taken steps to notify their ISP so they know I mean business.

If you do a whois lookup you can find web site's nameserver. In this case it's ns3.fastvps.ru. Just remove the "ns3." part and go to that URL (i.e //fastvps.ru/). It's a Russian hosting company. The site's in Russian but if you view it in Google Chrome browser it'll translate it for you.

Thanks, Richard.

Sigh just great - was hoping they had a U.S. ISP host - the fact that it is a Russian ISP host will make it a lot harder if the infringing website fails to follow the take-down letter.

I work in the IT industry. There are ways to handle this. If you would like more information Please PM me. We used to get brute attacks on our firewalls from china. They stopped. Not because of their ISP but because we knew how to compell them too. Through technology.
