I love the way some people get dedicated to an idea, however silly it seems initially it's nearly always inspiring.

We'll be seeing our own collection of moons in tomorrows challenge :-)

Those are so marvelous. I wonder if he uses a vagabond to power it. And an assistant to push the shutter... Thanks for sharing.

Geeze, Mike... Looks the same size to me; just some slight perspective variations. Notice the last shot, where the actual moon is in the foreground at the gallery, cord and all...

Here's more. The guy's a recognized artist worldwide. He's quite well-known and this stuff happens out in the real world with collaboration from others. Google him. He even talks about how it's a 4-piece moon so he can get it on airplanes and assemble it in situ.

Mike, it seems like, lately, you just want to throw a wet blanket over everything that shows up. Why so skeptical? It's a wonderful world!

"Owwwww," she hollered!
Still, when I first saw the title, my first thought was must be an army joke: "Private Moon, reporting for duty!"

Oh I love it!...and I totally want one of my own. I think it would look nice hanging in a tree in my backyard, or wherever else a moon might be missing. Thanks for sharing!
