The Landscapes challenge has been recalculated as a result of a disqualification. We were shown the disqualified photograph on another site with a matching exposure date, providing enough proof for us to disqualify based on the photograph's exposure date. A reminder to all users -- As stated in the challenge rules and on the submission page, all photographs must be taken during the week of the challenge unless otherwise specified.

I'm really glad this was resolved. I only wish those disqualified by border problems would be reinstated. Actually, maybe they were, I just haven't checked yet.

The disqualification was for an exposure date outside the challenge timeline, not for a border issue.

Yes, I know that Karen. I was just saying that to be fair, in addition to disqualifying the photo for being outside the timeline for the challenge, it would be nice to also reinstate those (two that I know of) who were disqualified for having 3 borders when they really only had 2 but the compression made it look like 3 borders, just like the winning landscape photo.

Ok, then I must have totally misread the posts from yesterday about the "accidental" third border.

Just ignore me.

I guess rules are rules. Shame really, it was my favorite picture of the challenge!

The favourites pages are still showing it by the way.
