Amen!
That was my first impression exactly. And then I went through them. They ARE great :)

yeah thats going to be a tough challenge to vote on. There is really only one oddball from what I can tell from the thumbs. Good luck to all that entered.

That's mine, too. But mine's not worth more than that...

Yeah, to all of you who'd claim that DPC has gone downhill in terms of image quality - I invite you to take a look at this challenge.

Just absolutely fantastic showing everyone, I really thought I had this in the bag, until I saw just exactly how awesome this challenge turned out. Very impressed.

Hoping this one does well. Used another old turn-of-the-century setup for this. :D

I'm stuck at 2 votes myself. But I have voted. Will doubtless bump a few more as the week goes on. What a brilliant showing!

Stats: You have rated 80 of 80 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.1000.

Fred, that's a 4, not a 1. If you'd got a 1 it would be 5.4 :)

I have a voting question for the New Happiness challenge. I took a quick look at the thumbnails, and most of the images are spot on in the style of Angus MacDonald. There were a couple that I consider a new interpretation of the MacDonald style which is a okay with me too. My question is how to handle an image that is technically fine, but clearly doesn't meet the challenge in way in my opinion. Do you score the image low (I'm thinking a 4 for a technically fine image that DNMC), or just skip voting on that image? How do you handle DNMC images in challenges?

I vote em low. People complain, but it's only right.

Do take some time though to see if there is anything you can connect to the topic. Still, if you have to work that hard, then it didn't really meet the challenge did it?

I agree with Cory ... I vote the pics a bit lower than I would have in a free study. But I also like to comment to let them know I liked the pic. I find that in crafting a comment I sometimes stumble on a tie to the theme. :)

After two votes I had 6.000; but after 8 votes my score has dropped to 5.500.
Happy to be average. ;-Þ

Mine was similar, after 7 votes 6.00, then an awesome baghead comment, and scored dropped, lol don't you love that!

Still some very awesome cheery photos in this challenge, I predict some very high scores.

No, no, no. It actually did meet the challenge, while challenging the voter, so an even higher score is due.
