I only have one camera so I'm out of ideas already.
Nothing left but my phone. Wait!! I can take a picture of my camera with my phone. Brilliant!!! Wait... why have a nice camera and lenses if I'm going to enter shots from my phone?

you could take a picture of your phone.

You can use a mirror and have your camera take a self-portrait.

no matter how you look at it, it's a super boring challenge.

The only question would be, is it more or less boring than Digital Darkroom?

1 day and 13 hours left for Inspired by jjbeguin and I've got nothing. I like this challenge theme, and I would like to entry something worthy of the theme. But, I've got nothing and the clock is ticking...

I do not have anything either and will not be entering. A great photog though, I will comment though and I never understood what style to copy from or how to create it, I did a challenge like that once but now, I usually never enter in those "in the style of" challenges. I will stick to my own and enjoy the images of what was done..

I do love when a photog has many options and they shoot a lot of different stuff.

(added)

I wish when they have these styles, the actual person or the photog would give hints and tips on what steps they take and process things would be so much help in order to create their special look/style.

You should rethink this… imo….

First, the nice thing about this one is that it's not in the style, but inspired by. So that gives you a lot more latitude.

But the reason that these challenges are so worthwhile, is it gives you a chance to really explore and see if you can figure out what it is that "makes" the photographers style. Usually it's just a different way of seeing the world. And trying to see through someone else's eyes can teach you a heck of a lot. Each time I go out of my own boundaries, I take the parts that intrigue me and just tuck away the rest to explore later.

One of my favorite shots is this one:

simply because it's so not me. And yet it came out of me. It's still not me, so I haven't done much more. But every once in awhile I'll go play.

Same with this one:

Exploring is what makes this place special.

Do I have an entry yet? ummmm… nope… Wish I did. :)

Which I totally agree, but the issue I have is that I have no clue of even going about how to create something like that,
its like I need a dummys 101 step by step to figure it out LOL

I'm with you Julie.

I have been trying all sorts of crazy things lately, attempting to get different kinds of looks. Sometimes even when I'm given the dummy 101 instructions I don't manage to capture anything good. Or if I do figure it out, it's way past the challenge time. So I haven't been entering anything - but I'm having fun experimenting. And I figure eventually I will be ontime for something.

All right. I am in for inspired by jjbeguin.

It was certainly inspired by, and what fun shooting. Not sure it's any good - but since I have no idea what folks might decide meet the challenge and what won't - what the heck.

Feels fantastic. Inspiration drought subsided.

Shot something perfect for the current challenge, and 4 minutes after rollover. Didn't look at the challenges since I was shooting, but it happened to be an easy shoehorn :)

Well, the current widespread western US drought may force some of us to present a different perspective on this topic ...

I can't remember when I've been less interested in a week's worth of challenges. :(

All right ... take the "worst" photo from this week, process it (a few times), and post in the Flip/Blend thread -- it's almost sure you'll see something interesting ...
