Unfortunately this was a shot I got back in July, otherwise I'd be submitting it! Doh!!

well it's great, but we are seing a lot of motion trail/blurr from the wings...I think the idea is to have 100% stopped action

Nice work, but the challenge states "no motion blur". I expect that well done photos like yours would not be seriously penalized by the voters just because of motion blur!

And based on comments I've had in the past about not "meeting the challenge" I suspect that well done photo's like yours *will* be.

Hopefully not stealing a thread but, I consider this to be stopped motion and for some reason I went out on Sunday knowing I'd get a shot for this weeks challenge

Of course, you have to assume that the voter actually understands the full wording of the challenge.

To this I refer you to the many other threads about voter activities 'n stuff.

Awesome photo! I must admit I didn't stop and think about the rules enough! Glad I hadn't recently shot it and rushed in to submit it only to get shot down! I didn't read the wording of the challenge and probably would have, but I'm sure there will be a few like me who haven't STOPPED the motion. Hmmm - should have used ISO 800!

Here's a couple of old ones from a recent trip to Disney. Sorry for the darkness; it was stormy and they were a long way off...

I'm kicking myself that I can't use 'em in the current challenge :)
