About 3 weeks ago I posted two new threads asking first for help in designing a T-shirt for a non-profit org. that saves pregnant mares from slaughter. I didn't expect the help I got and truthfully, it was worth the cost of my membership if I never enter another challenge.

The second thread was asking for advice on how to photograph horses.

I hope I don't miss anyone in thanking them and telling them how they helped but please forgive me if I do.

First - GeneralE took his valuable time to create a medicine wheel from scratch, photograph feathers and attach them to the wheel and create a magical design that everyone at Pregnant Mare Rescue loves.

Here are the t-shirts from the images provided from the site. The first one I am showing is all the General's work. He made the medicine wheel and did all the lettering.

To thank him he got to name the colt born - he called it Sydney and it's a black and white paint who is healthy and will enjoy a life free from any worries he will end up as food.

The front is which shows the logo that PMR has been using.

Skewsme for telling me about where to place the order .. they were excellent and easy to work with. They gave us 5 free t-shirts for ordering 30 and came in less than $6.00 a shirt. Great place to order t-shirts

snaffles for posting so many photos to give me ideas on how to photograph horses and also for encouraging me to contact littlemav who shared with me her pping skills and made me feel like I was visiting an old friend.

Cory for his ideas and photos on back-lighting .. excellent work!

Jgirl57 for so many great ideas .. really appreciate them!

Enlightened for her ideas and encouragement!!

P-A-U-L for his great ideas and for planting ideas in my mind.

tanguera for her wonderful advice to keep it simple and to remember it's similar to portraiture .. how true.

Aliqui for taking her precious time to give me the settings for some awesome ways to make my photos pop

rjkstesch for telling me about DP's wonderful and talented littlemav

Balancedfox for his interest and questions that I will answer as soon as I know what I am doing lol.

Hope I didn't miss anyone.

There is one other person to really thank but he/she doesn't want to be thanked publicly - that person donated money to the rescue and had his/her employer match the donation.

You are beautiful people who are not only talented photographers but care about the creatures who can't speak for themselves. May the generosity of your time be added ten fold to your time on earth. Thank you - Maggie

Fixed a few boo boos - but not the spelling in the title :(
