The results of the 'Vanishing Point III' challenge have been recalculated, due to the disqualification of the former 2nd place image for being taken outside of the challenge dates. Congrats to our new ribbons & honourable mentions!

Ohh nooooo! OMG my camera date is off! We spent a week in Yellowstone and I saw this challenge open while we were there. I knew I had a couple of shots that might work for the challenge, so when we got home I did some quick processing and submitted. Unfortunately, this image was taken at the beginning of our trip, just a few days before the challenge started. Argh! Bummer. Red Ribbon went to a red stain on my portfolio.

Thanks for the votes and comments! Congrats to new Ribbon winners and Honorable Mentions.

Classy.. Take note folks, THAT is how it's done. Kudos, not sure I could be so gracious.

Mark's always been a class act.
Here, he's teaching his son the finer points of photography at a GTG.

Oh... I really hate that!

That happened to me, too... my temporary camera was sent to a year ahead.

Not much to argue about when they say 'no exceptions' though... *sigh*

I'm so sorry. It's a great image!

And... I love the one of you and your son!

Ok, now you're making me blush. Trust me, you wouldn't think I was too classy if you heard what came out of my mouth when I got the DQ email. :-(

Alice, that little guy is about to turn 13! I miss those days when he actually WANTED to learn something from me. Now he knows everything. :-)
