My favorite tip? Writing your subject's name one a piece if tape and stick it on the back of your camera.

The tip that spoke to me right now:

"I know you want pictures of the face, but you might also consider going smaller. " Hmmmm....

I noticed that at least two of the accompanying "portraits" are what I call booger shots...the camera was looking up their nose.
