The DPL is ON, and teams are starting to form. If you have never participated in a DPL or did but don't have a team this time, put your name in the free agent pool, here: http://www.dpchallenge.com/league/league_free_agent_registration.php

just out of curiosity: if someone's paddling in the pool and finally decides not to stay in after all... how do they proceed? That is before being selected by a team of course

I'm in. Captains, you can count on me to participate, and to provide quality feedback on other team members' potential entries.

Hi, I'm new! Just signed up today and contemplating a full membership. My profile is sparse right now but I listed a website with a few photos and will add more. Nature and abstract photography are my favorites. I'd love to be part of a team. My husband is traveling a lot for work over the summer and my job will be slow so that leaves me a lot of time.

Welcome! Not to discourage you from signing up, but you can "try out" a full membership for a month for only $5 if you want to do that first ... you'll have access to many more challenges, and handy Portfolio space here for easy posting of other images.

There are a couple of "sticky threads" at the top of the Welcome Center section of the forums which may help you get started.

Hello and Welcome Beth

I'm in and feel this can only help me get better.

How many challenge entries are required per week from each member?

What does the percentage after the name represent?

Started UK team or GMT Team called "the tea party" ( the innocent English tea party style not American political one) name may change but just to get started.

So anyone more on our time zone wants to join let me know

None are required by the rules, but your top score for the week will count (if it is top 5 of a 7 person team or top 4 of a 5 person team) so if you are sure your shot will do well you can skip the others. More is safer. A low scoring entry beats no entry at all.

The percentage represents where they were ranked in their last 10 challenges and is only intended to keep teams and divisions balanced, to hopefully make a more even set of teams. known as the "Ribbon Hog Rule"
