So I tried having a client pay me through paypal (a huge amount -- $6.00). Neither she nor I have done this before.
I send a request for the 6 dollars.
She tried to pay it.
It just says status: pending -- on her end.
Nothing on my end.
Neither of use knows what this means. Can anyone explain? (I send it on the 12th, and it sounds like she sent it also on the 12th.

| Wendy, Paypal has a really good Help Desk , so you might try there first. |

depending on how she funded the account, it can take a while for it to clear. if she had an existing account balance or used a credit card it would be instantaneous, if its a bank account link, it takes a few days for paypal to process it.

| Thanks, guys. (and thanks for the helpdesk link. I just did a search and found paypal forums, but I kept finding people asking the same question with no one answering.) I figured it was that type of issue, but it seemed like a long time from the 12-16. But I guess half that time was a weekend. |

Exactly what Mike said,
yep yep, it is how it was funded... whether she paid instant or through another means...if she funded it through her checking and its not instant, that is also about 3 days or so
If it is instant or through paypal credit you would have had a clear account and its immediate..and you wont see it unless it clears on her end first :-))
I have had paypal since 2003 :-))
