Help please! For the first time I have taken a full gig of photographs in RAW and I can not review them. My card reader reads that they're there but I can't see them. If anyone can give me any advice I would REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

I just looked at your profile, and now I'm not sure if we should help until after the Wildlife Challenge closes. ;-)

Your images will be within a folder on the CF card. You have several options: Use the Canon software that came with your camera to open the RAW files. Photoshop 7 or CS can open and adjust RAW files, and recent versions of Photoshop Elements should handle them, too. There are lots of third party utilities for RAW, many of them free. Good luck!

Just use File view utility, and double click on an image to process it. Then save it in a jpeg or tiff format. The canon software isnt the best, but it gets the job done.

Thank you all very much! For some reason my Canon software wasn't working when I tried it. I re-booted and wham...it worked! The pictures are beautiful. Thanks again for helping out! I appreciate it!!!!!
