Use wall art in an imaginative way. I'm not talking about graffiti but wall Art only. Adv editing.

This is not making itself clear. Do you mean "pictures hung on a wall"? Or what?
07/02/2015 11:19:47 PM · #3
No sorry, not images hung on the wall but street wall Art.
07/02/2015 11:23:40 PM · #4
So, murals?
07/02/2015 11:26:45 PM · #5
So if a commissioned piece of work was done in the graffiti style it would still count?

Oh yeh I guess that's the technical term :-)

This might get messy so you can probably include graffiti as well but I would prefer Murals instead.

Ye - don't go saying things like that to graffiti artists - a lot of them take huge pride in their works and consider them murals.. :D

graffiti is just that, graffiti, a poor excuse for art IMHO!

This should be a great challenge.
(not like the closed eyes, while looking at the entries I really felt "boring", including mine)

Bump.

I like it. But, are you excluding sidewalk art?
07/17/2015 09:42:40 AM · #14

"Graffiti does ruin people's property and is a sign of decay and loss of control," Bloomberg said at a press conference Wednesday, when asked by journalists about Banksy's street art.

"Running up to somebody's property or public property and defacing it is not my definition of art. Or it may be art but it should not be permitted. I think that's exactly what the law says," Bloomberg continued.

I really love to see graffiti in a city. A city without graffiti is a city that doesn't live.
Some pictures I took before.

This could be a fun one to see - especially since we are from all parts of the globe.
Maybe this description would be more inclusive:
___
Topic: Street Art
Take a photo where street art is a primary subject in the composition. This includes but is not exclusive to: graffiti and murals on walls, sidewalks, subway and train cars, etc."
Street Art
