Thanks, interesting images.

Hmm.

I was honestly just hoping for environmental portraits, or straight portraits.

I think the crappy gimmick here ruined what could have been pretty interesting.

I didn't read much, just looked at some images but guessed it should have read 'Photographer takes people whilst he is on drugs'?

I see it in real life on my afternoon walk to the bus, but if you want pictures:

As with so many things online, the discussion following the photos is pretty divisive with many people proclaiming "lame". I found the images to be pretty corny, myself. And I think they would seem exploitive if they were actually of people using drugs. SO then I think hypothetically things like: it would have been funny if they were just before/after images of people that all looked the same and weren't affected by most of the drugs - that would be an interesting point. ;)

I thought the portraits were pretty terrible. Quite corny, as Tate mentions above. It's a shame as it's an interesting idea with a lot of milage.

This guy did an interesting project of self portraits whilst on drugs.

I've seen a few projects like that.

Then there is that interesting case of those delinquent spiders taking drugs.

I think it's probably far more fun, interesting and worthwhile to take the drugs yourself and do some art than try to imagine what people taking the drugs feel like and do a rubbish interpretation.

The effect of caffeine is frightening. Makes me wonder what we're doing to ourselves because almost everyone consumes caffeine in some form on a regular basis.

Wait a minute...we don't have the portraits 'before' they took drugs.
