I'm excited about the challenge, but wasn't joking about my comment. The odds say it all.
I do adore Christophe. He's the epitome of tact, modesty, and talent. I've been on a team with him. He's as kind in semi-private as he is in public. What a talent!

Yes, a fact of life is no joke..
To prove myself wrong, read on - I was just contemplating this cruel joke the other day:
Chrstophe joined DPC just 46 days after me.
We both shoot Canon [never mind which side of the money scale]
I have submitted 5 photos for every 2 by him.
BUT
He has 132 ribbons, and I have one [and a bit of a lucky one, at that].
A ribbon conversion rate of over 65% compared to 0.2%!

Back to normal transmission - I'll definitely submit my best worked images in this good opportunity to fly free.

Thanks for looking, I am so very proud of the bling. I still remember the very first time I got one [from Caree], and the wonderful rush it gave me to paste it onto my profile page.
Although I do not excel in Photoshop work, I do like to mangle an image into something completely different, which I'll be able to enter under this new free study, so looking forward to it.

Hehe It was just a fun posting, I admire Christophe's everything [not only the images, the whole approach, knowledge & sweat] but I love my own as only an amateur can.
As an interesting aside [well, it's interesting to me, being all alone in my room):
Guess what happened in the just completed challenge?
Christophe got the blue ribbon [first position] with:
and I got the brown bag [last position]not quite, don't know how I could look so wrong. with:  , plus a Postie Gallery and a Yellow Balloon from Mita
So I am chuffed. Lonely, but chuffed.
Let's not forget the comments, the last place image normally gets much more interesting comments than the winner, and I adore comments.
