I'm in reverse :) only 36th this year as opposed to 11th last year or 9th in 2015, which is the highest I ever made.

Thank you Henk. Your efforts bring another element to DPC that motivate and challenges us to be better photographers. This is My first time in the Top Ten. It validates to me that my efforts have paid off and my abilities are improving. What an honor for me to be mentioned amongst such outstanding and gifted photographers. It just shows that anyone with the desire can improve their skills and have fun doing it!

The top with Sisto, Neat, and Judi were unbeatable.
And special mention to DPL team Flashers, we got 4 of us in the top 7.

And a little bragging now... I got the first place (again) this year with entering ALL the challenges.

Interesting...

If two of the folks who gave Georges a 4 on his last image that qualified for the Unofficial Points race (New Year's Resolution) had given him a 5 instead... and one who gave him a 5 had given him a 6 instead...

He would have a ribbon for the year instead of an honorable mention.

Wow! One little point higher from three folks is all that made that difference.

I only looked at that one challenge. There are probably several where only one point up from one person would have given him a ribbon for the year.

Yup! Here's one:

Black and White Landscape.

If ONLY ONE person in that challenge had raised their vote by only ONE POINT, Georges would have a ribbon for the year instead of an honorable mention.

That's crazy weird!

Thanks for the posts. I have been busy lately and still am, should be in France now for holidays, but instead of that hospital visits with my wife next week. Anyway, at least the "ribbon problem" is fixed now!

It's the submission end date of a challenge that counts, so HDR and Free Study are the last ones counting for 2019. B&W Landscape will be the first one counting for 2020.
