Very uninteresting challenges, am I the only one to think that? Or am I just getting very bored!

Probably won't be entering them, might just stick to free studies from now on. Or the occasional unique challenge with an exciting topic.

I'm sure we will see some fabulous churches, be entertained by or given some insights into our fellow DPCers, and be treated to some delicious recipes. Doesn't seem like too bad a lineup of challenges, and even if I can't rise to each challenge I look forward to seeing the efforts of others.

To me the topics don't seem too tedious, I even entered and plan to enter the recipe challenge.
Sometimes I have no ideas when I see the new challenge announcements and think it's too dull to take the effort to shoot and submit. But when I see what great pictures were submitted by the others I'm surprised again and again.
But I have to admit that Anita entered 5 times as many challenges as I did in the past - that might be the major difference in looking at challenge themes

Maybe you need a new wall texture.

Interestingly... I shot a church scene for BW landscape. Took it out at the last minute and put my loser image in.

Went back a day later to shoot the church again... when the duplicate challenge topic appeared.

PFS. Hahahahah. Out of interest Anita. What could you think of as being a more interesting challenge?.... Agreed that many challenge titles repeat but often the results (and I include your brilliant entries here) is what inspires me to go out and do the challenge . Also whatever the challenge will then spend most of the week looking for something to shot that's both interesting and challenge appropriate. Have to say though with your success and that many challenges behind you be very interested to hear your suggestions. Please don't stop shooting !!!!

Judging by what I see when voting, people are searching for inspiration. A few are finding it & those few are inspiring me to hope that one day I will feel some motivation & desire to express myself with a camera once again. While I'm waiting, I'm taking this time to vote & then comment every image.

Thankyou very much for your kind words. I actually changed my mind, like a typical woman does and ended up shooting for 'churches' and 'recipe' probably shouldn't of bothered though, but I do get bored I guess if I don't pick up my camera after a few days. I seem to crave a creative outlet and if there's no renovating to do in our house, and the garden is all tidy then photography fulfills me.

I've had a few suggestions chosen, but lately all my suggestions have been ignored, so I tend to not suggest anymore.

Basically I don't like the repeat challenge suggestions that come around every year. I dislike food challenges, anything to do with wine glasses, and water drops.

Would love more fine arts type challenges.

I'm not crazy about the food challenge, either. But when looking through some stuff, I found someone who does absolutely gorgeous stuff. I have no idea how she does her shots. I need to pick those apart and find out how it's done. Because, if I could do it, I think I'd start loving a whole new type of photography.

Hmmmmm that's a hard one. . I actually really like street photography, but I know a lot of people hate it, and it's become somewhat cliche.
I'm quite partial to really good still life's also, any fine arts challenges, abstract, and I like the book and song title challenges which help to express myself.

I like B/W challenges, any kind, and I like landscape challenges, of course :-)
