This is pretty interesting. I like the second to the last one.

Also, some of the images remind me of images of the trails left by sub-atomic particles in a cloud chamber.

Who's ready to try making one of these? :-)

That's some SERIOUS high-speed burst rate he's running there. I doubt any of us have the tools to make it happen. Unless maybe it's possible to take individual frames out of an HD recording and mount them in Photoshop?

Yes, I figured shooting video with the camera stationary and extracting the individual frames, then stacking them in (most likely) Darken mode ...

awesome! Some of those birds are clearly on LSD or meth...

Well, it seems it is not TOO difficult to do this, though it looks like shooting with a higher-frame rate (or slower birds) would give a better/smoother effect.
