Also, some of the images remind me of images of the trails left by sub-atomic particles in a cloud chamber.
Who's ready to try making one of these? :-) |

That's some SERIOUS high-speed burst rate he's running there. I doubt any of us have the tools to make it happen. Unless maybe it's possible to take individual frames out of an HD recording and mount them in Photoshop? |

Yes, I figured shooting video with the camera stationary and extracting the individual frames, then stacking them in (most likely) Darken mode ... |

Well, it seems it is not TOO difficult to do this, though it looks like shooting with a higher-frame rate (or slower birds) would give a better/smoother effect.
