I dunno. Those are such fine examples, I have no ambition. Loved seeing them again.

Right. I miss those times. I doubt I could come up with an entry, but I do love those examples.

If I tried to jump on MY bed it would collapse with a horrible shriek :-(

Maybe if the challenge runs some week when I happen to be in a hotel; THOSE beds are tough :-)

Jumping on the bed, even cautiously, is said to be good for your spirit. And I definitely recommend all due caution for anyone over the age of 10.

Paco (my late-departed brother) and I used to drive our Mum crazy with bed-jumping in hotel rooms, since there were always two of them separated by a narrow space and the fact that one could jump FROM bed TO bed was basically irresistible :-)

That was one of the best things to do as a child! I do remember my godmother's daughter breaking her bed doing it. It was an awful noise, and I was glad I wasn't her at the time!

Canopy beds made it more if a challenge.

You know, I hadn't thought about it but current technology for beds has probably evolved past the box spring---probably no good for jumping anymore. Another reason to feel sorry for the missed opportunities of today's kids!

Yeah :-( TempurPedic mattresses suck for jumping :-)

I did a photo shoot recently where I allowed the child to jump on my bed, the little girl had a blast and the photos ended up being some of the parents favourite shots! But I have to agree that the beds these days with the pillow top are'nt as bouncy.

This would be a fun challenge indeed!

We paid a truck load of money for our new mattress........ you jump on it, I'll hurt you (or empty your credit card).

Thanks, but no thanks.
