Wanting Clean, Classic, Less is More, Simple, Uncluttered, etc
I think I have it down to these 4 now.

Which one appeals to you?

Of these I like the top-left best. If I was working on it I'd also try that layout with the round logo just a little smaller, and perhaps in a tint or color rather than the solid black.

How do you plan to print these? Lately I've been printing mine in small batches on ordinary 4x6 photographic prints, which makes it simple to use color and make changes. I'd suggest printing a few samples of 2-3 layouts and show them to friends/colleagues -- it really makes a difference feeling it on paper vs. seeing it on a screen.

ETA: Oh, and if you want to get just a little fancier you could make the black circle a straight-on shot of a lens/hood ... :-)

ETA: What does "studio" mean in this context? (that wasn't clear to me)

Thanks Paul

studio = home studio, its small but means I can do some work from home, means I can also bring lighting with me

I have played with making the dot purple but keep coming back to the black

Will see how it looks a bit smaller

Thanks for your critique very welcomed.

Top left.

Top left by a mile. Black and white works well for me. Spacing between "photo" and "video" *seems* slightly greater than between "video" and "studio". It may not actually *be* greater, because sometimes the longer word going first unbalances things, but I'd close that space up a little to make it "read" the same...

I agree with Bear, top left. top right and bottom right, too many elements fighting for dominance - and there should be only one dominant element. White space is an excellent dominant element, and makes that bar of black at bottom third pop. Bottom left one too bland imnsho. Hope this helps!
