Just sharing.

Installed this update this morning. After that, no sound, no internet connection and my monitor colors went crazy. All problems solved now. At least, that was my idea in the afternoon.

But now, I can't get any photos from my camera, since the Canon software stopped working (and I don't have any card reader in my PC). Looks like another challenge for me tonight :(

Note: Changing the compatibility (for EOS Utility) to Windows 8 solved the problem (for the moment). So there is still life after the update :)

Hoo. Sounds like a bumpy stretch of road there. Haven't seen the update as yet, but based on your experience I'll make sure I don't update at a critical time.

It's updated seamlessly for me, no hiccups yet, knock on wood...

Creators Edition has many bugs. Anniversary is the current stable version. I have both running at work and home and have no issues. Granted I have abundant resources. One tool if you loose any drivers and want an easy fix use Snappy Driver Installer. It is free, but is a 18 gig download Peer to Peer. I do clean installs and do not upgrade due to it creates too many undesirable issues.

I keep seeing this thread title and reading it as "Windows 10 Fall Colors Update" :-P

ETA: My laptop updated without a hiccup. Took an eternity, though, LOL

Windows updates are always at a critical time. Like when you are trying to finish an image for posting, or trying to beat a deadline or finish that term paper...
