I am looking to purchase a flash meter. I will be using this meter for both studio and outdoor photography. Any suggestions? |

Another vote for sekonic..
I've got a flashmate L-308B, and a scary old L-206 spot meter as per my advertising entry:

If you want to do outdoors stuff you probably want a spot/view meter as well, so the Sekonic L-558 that spazmo suggested would be a better bet for you. I only use the 308 for product shots under fixed strobes. And I only get out the 206 these days to scare people who don't know how to use an old meter!
I'm really just backing up the sekonic option, as I think they make some great gear.
Cheers, Me.
