Our Ginger Gem Taringa passed away yesterday at the age of fifteen. He was a great cat and will miss him so much. He was a very independant cat a great hunter and although not a laphugger we will miss him. So I thought a cat type challenge might be a nice thing to do......

Sad to hear Nick... Sounds like he had a good run. If they can say that about me when I'm gone, I've done well :-)

Sorry for your loss, Nick. The passing of a beloved pet leaves such a void.

Given Cats II was just a couple of months ago, perhaps there is some aspect of his personality that might be used as a challenge theme. Aloof, Independence III, Hunter?

They leave such a big hole in your heart.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind thoughts,he had a good run but kidney and other problems plagued him in later years.

He was always bringing home the fruits of his labour dead rats on the doorstep having to be disposed of at regular intervals, mice and birds as well..

well perhaps a challenge on what the cat drags home could be fun, there was a siamese in the neiborhood who proffered stolen socks and womans underwear to his people, all the wrong size for the lady of the house !!!!
We did have another ginger who raided the next doors bird cage and ate the two canaries .. they declined our offer of replacements.

I am sorry to hear about this, what ever size our pet's are, they leave a massive hole in our world.

A fun, filled challenge (as you suggested with) What the cat drags home, has so many interpretations, that I think it would be funny, poignant, sad, happy challenge at some point!

My condolences, Nick. Saying goodbye is the hardest part of pet ownership. It hurts. ((()))

What a great idea for a challenge! So sorry to hear about the loss of your furbaby… but a "what the cat brought home" challenge would be a hoot!
