Simply curious. Are there many thinking of entering that haven't got around to it, or are we going to be stuck at 10-20 entries ?

It's a tough challenge! I sure hope there will be more entering.

I really hate to sit this one out, since I think it's a really great challenge. I have had a couple good ideas, but have come out with nothing that I feel is up to par. I'm traveling on Saturday, and working on my house between now and then, so unless a miracle happens, I'm sitting :(

actually, i'm kinda looking forward to a guaranteed 20th place :)

I took some shots for Impressionism last weekend, but haven't picked one out and polished it yet. I'll be out of town this weekend, so the number of entries will be going up by 1 no later than Friday night. ;-)

How about extending it a week and opening it up to all?

That'll be considered unfair, after all - the 'masters' have had an extra two weeks...

Yeah, and it would be embarassing when we get beat by the underlings ; )

As it's dark before I leave work now I only have the weekends to shoot. Last weekend was typically wet and gloomy, so I'm praying for 10 minutes of sunshine this week. Otherwise I'll be sitting it out.

I've just entered... but I'm not confident at all.

No, but it leaves a bad impression.

Yep, that's what I was thinking (too lazy to come up with examples and links). Thanks Gordon!

I entered, but like Ben, I'm not optimistic in terms of score. However, I feel it to be some of the best work I have done, ever, no matter the score, so I'm already very pleased!

Me too. I might tank, but I did learn a lot. I figured a new technique that I want to other subjects.

Smashed up bugs are are probably more artwork than photographic technique unless you actually show part of the windshield.

I think I posted in the wrong "impressionism" thread. :-P

So I'll post it here...

Would the SMUDGE tool be allowed under advanced editing??
