I prefer your entry to the alternate. I put a border on my entry, but it was more to look like the physical frame of a billboard; the border you used looks fine for a photo print but doesn't strike me as "billboard-like" ...

FWIW I like borders but most voters here don't, so I think you made the right choice -- congrats on the HM. :-)
