It came to our attention recently that a DPC user created a second user account for the purpose of posting some rather unsavory comments in the forums, PMing other members, and voting on his/her own photos in the challenges. This second account has been removed, the user's photos have been removed from the challenges in which they voted twice, and the user will be banned from the site for the 6 months.
As laid out in the rules, fraudulent accounts, ghost ballots or any attempt to alter point totals in any way will result in an immediate ban from the site as well as possible removal of past entries. Please know that we take these sorts of violations very seriously. Each user is allowed one account only.
This rule includes "start over" accounts. If you've created an account at DPChallenge and forgotten your password, please use the password retrieval function. If you'd like a different username, please contact the admins. Please do not create a new account. If you've already done so, please contact the admins so that your old account may be merged with your new one and the old one closed.
We thank you for your continued participation in our efforts to keep DPChallenge an honest and fair place.

Don't we get to know "who"? What keeps them from opening a new, third account (I presume they were just a registered user). I've seen it happen on other sites. It was the other users who knew that persons work that called attention to the "reappearance".
