I've been following that list for a few years now and have read a number of articles about it but I wonder how they get their data or how accurate it is.

I do however believe it's all true...

I'm just glad I don't live in Pakistan, The Cote D'Ivoire, Burundi, Chad, etc....

That would be tough on an honest, upstanding guy, such as myself. Heh!

Yeah....I think America was 17th.

It's intersstung to note that Scandinavian countries (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland) were all in the top 10. One tends to think of Iceland as being of Scandinavian "origin" way back when, so making that allowance 5 of the top 10 are Nordic/Scandinavian peoples.

For whatever that's worth...

Nor me. Levelheaded peoples of probity and rectitude, is my take on those nations. I admire them, actually.

Jaysus, Deanna and Annah... We may be having somewhat of a crisis of "faith" in this country currently, but in the HUNDREDS? Down with all the tin pot dictatorships and sadistic-warlord countres? Sheesh...

IMO, when you find that your opinion of something (political, cultural, etc) is way off from reality, you need to rethink where you get your information. :)

maybe it does belong on the bottom of the list. 17th place could be a media fabrication. Mainstream Media in our country is a crock of beans.

UK (not just England) is 11th.
But ditto at least we beat France!!
I looked up to check whose perception of the countries was being taken (this is a table of perception not proof) and it does appear that they use a large poll and in the business areas that would be able to judge fairly but I am no statistician.

Interesting!
