I belive that the USA is the largest whale hunting nation in the world...

Wait until we have a "tree" or "forest" challenge.......LOL
As far as I know (never been there myself) there are none on Iceland....
on the other hand maybe they are creative enough to still come up with good pictures.....

Ohh brother this is lame.. I could and most other can find larger and more horrible crimes done by USA than killing whales.
Some fact about Whale hunting for ya.
Japanse are the largest whale-hunt nation in the world (count by how many whales they hunt every year)
USA are also the largest whale-hunt nation in the world (count by weight)
So you better think before you write.

...we would all have to use macro mode/lenses for that kind of challenge... |

Unlike the Icelanders, we only kill in self defence. It is a proven fact that 45 minutes after we invaded Iraq they used weapons of mass destruction on our troops.

This thread is getting pretty political for me, so I want to avoid that part of the discussion.
All I want is for one of the Icelanders to invite me to come visit their beautiful country. I will never be able to afford the trip, I just want to know I would have someone to look up if I ever got there.
All of you have a very good eye and appear to be dedicated to photography. Keep up the great work.

I just checked and a round trip flight to Iceland, from Salt Lake City, is around $700-$900. I'll have to save my pennies!
But it's true--there's something about Iceland that breeds good photographers! Perhaps the Edda has something to do with it.
