Just thought it would be neat to post our experiments in post processing. For those of us interested in digital art and special effects, it would be nice to put either with the pic or in your comments from your portfolio, how you did it. I am into multivision ideas right now, and discovered I have a multivision lens filter in my editing package. Hope you like it. I will try to make comments if you post.

Someone mentioned digital art? :P

Some have their editing steps but most don't. However, I'll answer any questions about them.

So what experiment did you do with this one? It looks like you might have added some light in the background as a very soft highlight. Like it a lot.

I didn't add anything to the photo only removed elements by burning and curves. Ok well, I "added" the motion blur by using the radial blur set to zoom in photoshop but that was it. :) The look of the blur is what the pixels produced when blurred. I used a duplicate flatten layer and then blurred it and masked out the overlapping parts so the main subject remained sharp.

Hey, that's "borderline digital art" as you put it. DNMT! :P Nice pic btw!

It doesn't suck. I see a couple things I might like a different way, but overall it is a VERY amazing image, and one that is personally significant to me and I'm sure others as well.

Heh, okey... (thanks :-) )

I'm pretty sure these are what I posted:

noise and levels edits only

gradient map

levels and replace colors

and of course I've got a whole section of digital art stuff (I'm not sure if the ones I posted are my favorites really).

Thank you for the kind comments. I spent several hours trying to get this right but just couldn't do it. by the way this is a composite of no fewer than 3 images (i think I may have used a forth but can't recall exactly) the person is me taken from my desolation shot.
