Hi There!
Has anyone used Proshow gold to make a presentation if so is there anywhere I can try it out and is it really hard to use
Or is there any other similar type of programme you can recommend to put photos images to music?

Thanks
Sally

Try to get the trial download here!

It is a fantastic program and very simple to use. The output is excellent too!

Yes, I've used it and yes, you can download a trial here and no, I didn't find it very hard to use at all. Quite awesome, actually.

It is awesome and simple. Used to create the DPChristmas Poem Slideshow

Edit to add: I almost forgot - the SPEW Documentary (17MB WMV) was my first ProShow show and it was real easy to learn.

It is well worth the investment. Putting some shots together and adding some royalty free music and showing a client a presentation adds polish to what you offer. My first job secured my second with the same client that way. They truly enjoyed the show, and the learning curve is not that steep. I highly recommend it.

It's an outstanding product and VERY configurable, with an easy to use interface and will make a great stand-alone motion & music slide show that can be put on a CD along with all the high-resolution stills in a folder too. I used it a couple years ago and was a huge hit.

Here's a link to a lower-resolution web-based version of the show I did
for the local High School's State Championship Wrestling team:

I love it as well. Very simple to use. It only took me a couple of hours to create this //www.photodex.com/sharing/viewshow.html?fl=2628475&alb=0
without having used the program much before.

You certainly can! You can put them onto DVD, CD or as executable files.

Yup, you can burn direct to DVD within the Proshow Gold program, its literally just a couple of clicks of a button. You can also add menus using either the custom templates or create your own. It really is worth the relatively small investment.

It can take music from a CD and yes you can you large files (although I use smaller ones) for DVD presentations. You could either make it an executable for your PC for projection or put it onto DVD or Video CD.
