I haven't been here long, but it seems like all of the challenge topics deal with specific subjects. What if we tried one based on more of a thought, or expression. Obviously, this would make things open to even more scrutiny, but I think we could all open our minds and give it a shot. In case I'm not being clear as to what the hell I'm talking about, an example would vbe maybe

Challenge topic="What the hell was I thinking?" or "cold" and with could there should be no more elaborations, as it would be the photographers interpretation of each idea.

Hmmm... that would be interesting. To add on to this, I'm not sure if this is where you were going or not, we could have one challenge based on emotions, angry, sad, happy. Either 1 emotion or to losen the challenge let the photographer have any one of the emotions.

Emotions: Wow, talk about open to interpretation. This would be fun too shoot, but I wonder if there would be two methods of thinking (at least) The most obvious, lots of pictures of people making faces. And the more subtle, how does this pictures make me feel. And, if the photgrapher chooses the latter approach, does it make everyone feel that way. Might be interesting!

"takin' pitchers" of faces would be the 'obvious' way to capture an emotion. I would, however, likely approach that challenge from a completely different perspective... I would attempt to capture a scene that stirred an emotion in me rather than trying to capture an emotional expression from someone else...

Great topic idea! But I suspect a lot harder than one might originally think to capture.

I think I would enjoy the challenge... "Emotions - No Faces" :)

Seems like you could do a lot with body language without showing the face.
