Well I might as well post this score fast because it is probably going to be the last time I see during this challenge. Feels good!

Have just run through the thumbs, not many Multiple light source photo's.

Is not multiple light source a photo taken using more than one light source, not a photo with multiple lights in it, as you are only photographing with the one light source.

For example, you might have to position your subject to take advantage of the position of the sun as a "main" light, and use reflectors to create your fill. A search for some shady spot might be required to provide a soft enough light source. The sun might end up as your hair light or back light.

lets hope the voters see this.

Yep...mine was made using three light sources. But only those that look closely will realise that. The lazy ones or the ones who can't read the lights...won't work it out. Their loss. I knew this going into the challenge....and already I have two comments. One of which says what I expected.

This is what I thought going through the challenge, I used 2 to create multiple light source, and only opened at 5.

Next time someone decides to make a DNMC comment (not naming any names) it would be nice for them to actually state why they think it is a DNMC.

maybe the viewer could only see one light source.

maybe the viewers opinion of the challenge criteria is incorrect.

If the photographer is standing over 200 yards from the subject, a very powerfull flash or reflector or strob would be required to create a second light source onto the subject, other than the light created on the subject.

Well, if you have 35 tungsten sources + 4 fluorescent lamps + natural light in your shot... you get a DNMC because it was not you to position those lights. I got it. So if it is a beautiful scene, clearly making the use of the lights the main attraction of the shot, you're getting DNMC.

Sometimes I don't understant, but the world is nice because we're all different!

Forget the flash, reflectors and strobs... where in the challenge description did it state you had to position or create these light sources yourself?

Well I created and positioned the three light sources in my shot and I am tanking...and getting DNMC comments. Go figure.

Got the same problem. Damned annoying! I also used three lights.

This is an excerpt from the Challenge Rules:
"You may not give an entry a lower score because you believe it violates the Challenge Rules".

I figured three would be too confusing for the average voter, so I used a simple two. Still, my photo is nothing short of idiotic, and is, unsurprisingly.... tanking. Hehe, I brought it on myself.
:-D

Just so everyone is clear.

When I score this challenge, I will take into consideration the "literal" aspect of the word "multiple".

I will prolly score high for those that used basic lighting setups using a key, back, and fill. Or what ever.

I will score low when using just the Sun, unless I see some sort of bounce, reflection, or mirroring effects. The Sun is not, and will never be "multiple".

I did not enter this challenge.

What about idiotic shots, how will you score them? ;-)
