I am amazed at how fast this came together. From a stray thought less than 18 hours ago to a full team!

Official Rejected Roster:
traquino98
Chesire
dcnfarrell
BAMartin
cryan
nutzito
Jammur

I've perused some of your profiles and seen some awesome pictures. I'm looking forward to the challenges to come. Any suggestions for a team signature?

Ches

We seem to have some real good talent with this group of people. I'm looking foward to the new season and kicking the asses of all the people who rejected us.

I just looked at everyones portfolios, and I think we have some very good talent here. Most of all, I just want us to have a great time and learn from each other. I am looking forward to this!

I have added you all as favorite photographers, seems the easiest way to keep track of each other.

Well, I just finished browsing through everyone's portfolios and challenge history. The prospects are looking good. I'm excited for the new season to start.

dcnfarrell has put in an intreguing profile picture :)

Perhaps we can use something similar to make our own team sig? We can be spiffy like the rest of them :)

Well, I'm so flattered that you "liked" my profile pic., Ches. I hadn't done one before joining the team, and the thought came to me. Of course I thought it was funny, and am glad no one seems to be offended.

Woot! Someone who added me as a favorite photographer after actually seeing my pictures. I had 3 people pick me before I uploaded an image.

After reviewing everyone's portfolios, I see a lot of diversity and imagination, plus our strenghts aren't limited to one genre.

To paraphrase a great American naval hero:
Damn the postprocessing, full speed ahead.

I was thinking about our team signature and came up with a different idea, if anyone is interested. I'm sure some people may not like having a giant "reject" stamped across their face, so instead, how about "mug shots"? But instead of the Most wanted, we could be the Least wanted? It really doesn't matter to me either way. I'm really open to just about anything.

I know I wasn't a big fan of having "reject" stampted on my face. I was actually brainstorming earlier and was thinking along the lines of a mugshot also. I like that idea.

In addition to that, who here has the best skills for putting the banner/card things together? It would be best to just have one person do it so they are all uniform.

Well, I have no skills with the banner stuff. I have no idea how they do all that! Glad you agree with the mugshot idea, Scott. And I'm still open to other ideas as well!

I do not know about banners and such either. But I also do not want reject stamped across my face. If you all decide on mugshots, I am fine with that. At this point I am just so happy that our team is together, the rest does not matter to me.

Cool idea. The banner shouldn't be to difficult, the others appear to just be pictures that have a color layer over them and then are copied into one small file.

I like the mug shots idea too :) Just need to gather them up.

Cool, I'll scan in my last set of mug shots and you guys can decide full face or profile. :)

Link to Signature/Trading card info.

Found this, though I'm guessing the logo may be updated yet again for WLP5

My vote is for the mugshot. Sad to say I have to idea how the cards or sigs are made.

You know, C'Anne, at first I thought you were going crazy. I had to read your message five or six times before it sunk in. Then, I had to go to the DPC Home Page to see what you were talking about. Mine shows these three images instead:

It says they are "featured photographs" for this week. Interesting update I guess. I wonder why they are different for different users though? Probably two random people, and then one from the user logged in.

Well, I'll try and download the card format, and see what I can do with it this weekend, to at least have something started. We may have to update the logo, but that would be it then.

Ahhh that makes sense... Ego boost! Might stimulate some off challenge comments for people.

My daughter is really good with banners and has offered to make us one if we want. Let me know what sort of thing (colors etc) we might want.

Do any of you guys have a photo in the March Free Study? Have you been following it? Apparently some big April Fool's joke so the scores everyone sees are either really horrible, or really good. Too many decimals are showing in the score, and there are a tone of DNMC comments. I don't like to think of myself as a sour puss, but I think the joke is getting a bit old now. I actually thought I had a good photo until it started last night, and then I was confused, then I laughed when I found out it was a joke and went to bed. I was hoping to find the joke all played out this morning when I woke up, but unfortunately it's not. Oh well. Here is what it is looking like for me right now:

Pretty ugly, isn't it? And my one comment is the infamous "DNMC 1"! How can you possible not meet a challenge criteria on a free study???

Hey Scott, It's definitely got to be an April Fool's Day joke. Unfortunately, it's going to be ugly for today, huh? Oh well. And no way is your score really 3.999blah blah blah. You're work is too good!

Was thinking for the banner.

If we each do our "team card" Then we put a banner in front... that is the mug shot board with Rejected written across it.

I haven't been able to open the team card yet to see how it works. (Apparently vista doesn't like it)

Did you all see the new rules for WPL5? Link is here.

Some pretty serious penalties, so make sure you trust your team members. I guess our first order of business is to select a captain. I nominate Chesire as she is the reason we are all a team.

Go Rejects!!!!!

I'm not sure those rules are for real yet. It IS april fools day after all.

Some of them seem a bit harsh.
